Making money on the holidays
Holidays are great using Azoogle. On one of the best holiday mornings this year , Valentine’s day, you can hit $1k hours.
So how is this possible using only pay per click traffic? Well, you need a “perfect storm” of factors. Each is equally important in the perfect mix. The 3 main factors were:
1. Major advance preparation
2. A major holiday.
3. Multiple offers.

Major preparation is key to making money on the holidays. As with any campaign on any other day. You need countless hours preparing everything. This includes researching keyword trends, choosing offers, setting up campaigns, building landing pages, and testing. Then, you need to have everything optimized well before the holiday arrives.
Start at least a month before the holiday. This gives you time to get it all running well. All your A/B ad copy testing is done, and everything is at peak efficiency.
Finally, be sure landing pages are on a reliable host. It won’t crash during crunch time. You don’t want your hard work wasted when the money starts flowing.
The holiday is the engine driving traffic and earnings. For Valentines Day, it is the mother of all online holidays. However, you can design campaigns around any holiday. Holidays take a normal search term and increase it by 1,000%. Take a look at the search volume trend for the term “send flowers”.
Notice how traffic goes through the roof on Feb. 14th for this term. Another nice spike to work to get with this keyword is mother’s day.
Multiple offers are important to capture all possible traffic activity for a given holiday. In this example, it is flowers, which is an offer I was promoting. However, there are about 4 offers feeding into that. Search through all the offers on your affiliate network and see which are related to the upcoming holiday. Again, it depends on your preparation. If your network lacks a solid offer for the holiday you are promoting, join another network.
Now, set a reminder for yourself about Mother’s Day if you want to be ready to capitalize. With the proper effort, you can see huge returns on the next holiday. It’s only a matter of how hard you want to work.
