Promoting a new website

There’s a lot of ways to promote a website. Link trades with other sites and blogs are good when just beginning. However, your goal is to build a massive network of sites where you only trade links with yourself. This way you keep traffic within your circle.

Once your sites have good rankings, you use those to bring up your other sites by linking from them.

High PR directories.

Whether mainstream or adult, these are good resources. You can find some places on the web that sell backlinks to you. Plus, there are packages some directories sell where you get links on a group of high page rank directories for a price.

Social bookmarking sites.

Use them to build traffic. The most popular is Digg and Redditt. But, there are TONS of them out there. Get on them and write about your site to get some traffic. And, yes, they have them for Adult too.

RSS feeds.

Create feeds from your blog in feedburner and have it ping the search engines everytime you update. It’s like flashing shiny jewelry or bright toys in front of a child. The engines GOTTA come when you ping them. Just be sure your site is setup correctly and you’ll get indexed quickly.
