Paypal tip to avoid bank fraud

Never, ever connect your PAYPAL account to your regular or personal Checking Account.

Here’s a tip… Go to your local check cashing  place. ACE is good but any major Check Cashing store does Moneymart, etc.

Purchase a pre-paid MasterCARD or VISA debit. The costs is around $10.00, I think.

Put $50-$100.00 on it.

Before leaving the Check Cashing store, ask for the ROUTING INFO on the account. They should give you a print out of it.

By law, they must give you a printed version!!!… it is the law in most states.

The printout has the Bank Name and Routing number for your account. That’s right, a PREPAID DEBIT CARD AT A CHECK CASHING place is an account!

It doesn’t matter you don’t get checks or have a physical location, it still is a valid bank account.

Now, when you add this card to your PAYPAL account, simply use the bank name, account number and routing address to verify your paypal.

NOW, IF ANYTHING FRAUDULENT happens with your paypal, it won’t affect your real world account.

Only keep a minimum on the debit card to avoid being wiped out if fraud occurs.

Also, if you use a VISA debit card, they protect you against all FRAUD charges.

There are service fees involved, so make sure you know about them. But, often, the added security is well worth it.
